AS HONOURABLE SHINA ABIOLA PELLER; MEMBER HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, NATIONAL ASSEMBLY  AND SHOWBIZ IMPRESSARIO ENDORSES THE ONE UNITED AFRICA.

Another critical voice was added to the vision to unite Africans yesterday, in person of a distinguished parliamentarian, from the Nigeria National Assembly, the House of the Nigerian People, the House of Representatives  a.k.a the great green chamber in person of Honourable Shina Abiola Peller, the scion of the GREAT  incomparable  all time  great entertainer to ever walked through the Nigerian  entertainment landscape  in person of Shina Peller(Snr.)

While alive he performed to the admiration of Nigerians, Africans and took Nigeria and Africa to the world.

It's no surprise when like a bolt from the blues Shina Peller ( jnr) emerged and took over the entertainment scene a little less than a decade ago with the birth of #QUILOX #NIGHTCLUB.

In a business landscape renowned for early mortality, NIGHTCLUB businesses have a relatively  short life span but not Quilox, located at a highbrow area of Victoria Island, it has survived and waxing great due to the vision and resilience of this young Nigerian.

What #Nightshift  Nightclub of the 70s and 80s , owned by Pharmacist turned club owner  Mr Ken Caleb Olumense was to the Nigerian entertainment industry and night time business, Quilox has transformed and is today and much more.

Quilox is not a place for just fun and debauchery but a place where destinies are made, and ebbing careers get a rebound, and hundreds of direct employees and thousands of indirect employees owe their life lines and livelihoods to the tenacity of the young  visionary Shina Peller's tenacity to keep Quilox running till date.

Today, Quilox stands undeniably taller than others in the sector, as one of the major feeders of the Nightime economy of Lagos state, it is a known fact countries that will do well  must have a vibrant day and night time economy, the economic activities must never shut down, when a shift is closing another shift resumes. 

Today some of the greatest Nigerian exports of the creative industry  have great affiliation if not cutting their teeth and breaks  from Quilox Nightclub, a vision of Shina Peller, as the #BunaBoys, #PastorRankings, #Davidos #Nairamarley etc, all of them find a warm embrace with Shina.

SP or Chairman as I call him and I first met couple of years ago, when we met at a birthday party of a mutual friend at Civic Centre, we sat at thesame table and you cannot miss his bright eyes, his vivacious self, and we got talking, before leaving he handed me an invite to the annual  rebranding of his club. 

The first thing  you will notice about this youngman arts promoter,  club owner turned politician is his eye for details, he never spares attention for details, I observed that first from that invite that he gave me. It was clean and compelling. 

We then drifted by different life's journey  until he won his election into the house of representatives in 2018, 

i remember he had the first Constituency programme for his constituents very early into his tenure and I was there, oh Honourable  Shina is loved by his people,he is in touch, his legendary warmth, generosity  and affection oozed everywhere from knives to kings.

So when the idea to do something about the perennial outbreaks of violence and rising hostility started, and we felt this is a  #PEOPLE TO #PEOPLE #crusade that must complement what Government is doing at the level of foreign Affairs, I knew we must get Hon Shina Peller on it.

When I ran it by him, in the early days, his busy schedules kept getting in the way and yesterday  we eventually got this wrapped. 

Hon SP spoke heartily about the need for CONTINENTAL reorientation as one of the keys to unite Africans, he said we must share our values correctly and heal the continent, observing that conflicts will never breed greatness. 

He promised his fullest support. 

Now for the #THEMESONG and the #4NATIONS #CHARITY #CONCERT, we can look forward to a great show , the biggest #CRUSADTAINMENT( crusade + entertainment) that will feature the biggest artists from the continent of Africa. 

Whoever knows Shina, would agree that he does not spare, when he is into anything he pulls out the stops.

This is a crusade that is aimed at uniting the peoples of the continent and from this I see a CONTINENTAL giant arise #QUILOXAFRICA, it's one of the spin offs , that once we are united and stem the tide of hostility we can grow business that will be continental, so this may just be the beginning of Quilox from Lagos Nigeria to the continent.  

This is one vision for every one to be a part of, we can ignore and be victims or unite and be victors.

Together we are safer.
