Music As A New Paradigm To End Xenophobic Attacks & Sustain African Unity

By Emmanuel Ajibulu

Peacebuilding activities are essentially aimed at assisting countries emerging from conflict,
reducing the risk of relapsing into conflict and at laying the foundation for sustainable peace and development are laudable goals and intentions, but not without putting into account the power and spirit of MUSIC.

In its endlessly diverse forms, its fluid adaptation over time and context, and its uncanny ability to get under our skin, MUSIC is a powerful global and local force. Music has power over us as we listen to the melody and lyrics, and at the same time gives us power in creating and performing it whilst also  developing in us a fresh and healthy mindset that can help end the tide of destructive behaviors, violent and bloodshed.

I strongly agree with this flawless and special purpose vehicle driven by a leader of thought, former member of House of Representatives in the 7th Assembly, Hon. Bimbo Daramola, who is convinced through the benefits of hindsight that African countries can be reunited through MUSICAL CONCERTS.

Thats the essence of the #endxenophobia CHARITY CONCERT and THEME SONG to be put together by AFRICAN MUSIC ICONS ACROSS THE CONTINENT.

PROCEEDS WILL ALSO BE USED TO SUPPORT REHABILITATION OF IDENTIFIED VICTIMS OF XENOPHOBIA ATTACKS

Let's make this happen, an endorsement from Emmanuel Ajibulu.
