LET'S BE TRUTHFUL TO OURSELVES AS NIGERIANS - Hon Umaru Mohammed Bago.

"...now let's be truthful to ourselves as Nigerians, wether we are lawmakers or

doctors or artisans, young or old, hausa, igbo or yoruba, if we truly want a united nation, we cannot cherry pick with the constitution,  arbitrarily  choosing what we accept or reject as suits our fancy.. 

Our constitution is not a book of suggestions, but statutes that must be obeyed by all and not in breach; 

the contents are irreducible minimums to guarantee justice, equity,fairness,right to express oneself, right to association etc 

the full compliance with this, is the foundation that great nations stand upon; not arbitrariness of "crossing the bridge when we get there"...

The aspiration to be the Speaker of the House of Representatives (9th Assembly) draws  strength from these facts...
