BRIEF INTRO ABOUT MYSELF

Hi my name is Natacha Akide, i'm 22yrs old, i hail from Kalabari Rivers State Nigeria.

I'm a YouTuber, Makeup Artist and a Hair Guru.

SOMETHING YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME

I'm Bi–racial, My mom is Ghanaian and my dad is a Nigerian.

I have a short hair lol.

DEFINITION OF A GOOD MAKEUP ARTIST

I would say the ability to impact knowledge on your students. Alot of makeup artist have difficulties teaching people that come to them to learn. And for me, if you consider yourself a good makeup Artist, you should be able to TEACH (impact knowledge to students)

MY FIRST MAKEUP ATTEMPT

I would love to say it was a disaster lol, it was years ago, i started off with lip glosses dho, then at age 16 i started using actual makeup, Brown powder, Lipsticks and Eyeliner, funny thing is my mom would always always throw my makeup kits away, after using them on Sundays she seizes them next thing they are gone, i battled with buying new sets back. My makeup at that time wasn't nice i know for sure lol.

HOW DID YOUTUBE START FOR ME

uhnmm well, the internet they say influences people, so i guess i got influenced. Back then in university days, i had alot of free time... during this free time i'm in YouTube, watching one video or the other, exactly how i fell inlove with Beauty Videos and Vlogging and i said to myself "this fits you perfectly love".

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR STYLE OF VLOGING

Me and my environment basically, vlogging is everything in a video, so every little opportunity i get to share something about me to my subscribers and my followers i just go ahead and start recording, edit and post.

CHALLENGES I FACE

Hahahaha, alot i can't even lie lool.. I have issues with my equipments and that is a major major challenge, as a YouTuber and Makeup Artist you should be able to provide crystal clear contents (pictures or videos).

Secondly, difficult clients and annoying photographers, some makeup clients can be difficult to work with. While photographers will request for a collab, collab is of advantage on both ends, after going through all the stress and the shoot finally happens you get your pictures years later, i have a photographer with my pictures since 2016, lool.

HOW DO I SHUFFLE YOUTUBE AND MAKEUP

For me yea, this both are thesame, i don't do alot, i just pick days for recording my videos and that's all i record and i'm off to my makeup studio to have classes with my makeup students.

WHAT ELSE DO I DO?

Being a BEAUTICIAN is my LIFE, lool it's all i DO.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS

Well, sincerely i don't know where I'll be in five years, but deffinitely i see me really far from where i am currently, i see myself landing several high-profile clients, have Symply Tacha Eyelashes in every Beauty Store, be everyones favorite Makeup Artist and YouTuber and lots more.

ROLE MODELS

None really, i always like to be in my space, i have alot of Beauty Gurus i watch here and then dho, but i really do not have a Role Model.

FAVORITE COLOUR

Would be BLUE, creepy yeah? Every girl loves PINK lol

BEST NIGERIAN AND GHANAIAN MEAL

Best African meal is definitely Jellof Rice and Chicken

For Ghanaian food, i haven't tried eating any.

Be in my phone, there's alot to learn from the internet, so i'm here surfing.
