My Limitations Does Not Obviate The Love in My Heart  For EKITI

Let Us be Real with Ourselves!

Whenever I read some uninformed comments, attacking me or taking pot shots at my person all I just do is smile.If only these people will face reality of our situation.

Thousands of individuals and homes in Ekiti are facing great challenges; from fear of where the next meal is going to come from;  some young girls will end up in beds that they ordinarily would not or should be tonight, 

some boys will finally make up their minds to join the growing band of the survival lane of Yahoo Yahoo; if not the more  virulent  variant termed Badoo; or  Yahoo plus  or armed robbery by tonight  because of hopelessness even as the year starts, 

Some parents are further going down in debts with the associated harrasments due to unpaid debts earlier incurred on school fees as they are face to face with another round of school fees; because the are children about to resume; 

A new year with thousands living in despondency about the way forward having been graduates for over 5 years,

A lot are in our hospitals from FMC Ido to Teaching hospital in Ado Ekiti held down because they cannot pay hospital bills  from as little as N10000 and more 

Some are scared that  their wards will not be able to sit for JAMB; what some have derisively said is "JUST" N7000 which is the value of our intervention for 1000 young Ekiti and so will the destiny of the young child be fetered for another year. 

Some #Pensioners are living in crushing pains as I write this message and  lamenting their inability to go to hospital to get medical attention for normal old age related care for #arthritis because pensions have not been paid. 

Our dearly beloved #teachers and #civil #servants cannot plan when they will move to their own homes as my parents were able to do even as secondary and primary school teachers way back 30 years ago!

They are faced with the indignity of how to face their #landlords because of subsisting harrasments from their landlords who are threatening them with #eviction having yanked off their connection to power source or removal of their front doors! 

Some #civil #servants have to keep #dodging all the #microfinance #houses and their cut throat interests that has kept spiralling , and even if salaries are fully paid today "#LAPO" or "#GBOMU LE #LANTERN  will snap it  all. 

So why are we pretending ? Why are we burying our heads in sand when our entire body is sticking out like sore thumb? 

Why are the internet warriors living in denial and attacking #bimboekiti  as if the scenarios I chronicled above are not real.  

The truth is that most of the internet warriors are faced with these issues or know somebody close to them who Is!

Anytime I write , its out of pains and not an attack on anybody! 

As I have said earlier ; if God has given me the grace to be above some of these realities ; the best i can humbly do is to join hands with men and women of good conscience to #lift #others #out of misery and woes that the above scenarios  connotes which daily breaks me as i witness and get to attend to compatriots in the throes of pains. 

If I allow the internet warriors and their unfair and uninformed bile laden attacks to take me away from the pursuit of life long purpose then i would have failed in one of the duties that God and humanity has commended to me. 

I will be resolute and push on no matter the attacks or how hot the furnace of the battle to stave off hopelessness  and despondency may be. 

The ultimate joy is not to become #the next #Governor of #Ekiti but how many people will be able to quit the subhuman level of existence if i have the opportunity to do so.

I have humbly  consistently reffered anybody who care to go back to my modest efforts when i had the opportunity as a member house of representatives.  

If the records do not give you comfort  going by what we were able to attract to families and homes with limited personal resources then this whole effort wont be worthwhile. 

I have seen a young man written off and life consigned to be a cheap political thug now reformed and serving our country in the armed forces; I have seen my modest resources snatching so many away from massive needless deaths; several young men today as graduates because we bridged poverty and their future with our modest resources and above all altruism and pure love. 

I know we can do more with our commonwealth;Our patrimony.

Sentiments or blind loyalty to human being or party wont do that. 

My appeal is that my limitations like the (internet warriors also do have theirs) as a human being warts and all should not be magnified over and above a heart that sincerely cares about the well being of our people and our state, particularly the seemingly helpless ones . 

Let's not play lousy ; cheap  politics with our realities.  

Let's get real with ourselves and our situation right Now! 

As we say in Ekiti, the day a sick person comes to terms with his #SITUATION; then help and cure is afoot. 

I believe our situation can be better, that is why I want to be the next Governor of our dear state. 

I need all men of fair conscience to pitch in with me today. 

This is My humble appeal and plea.

We all have a stake. 

God bless Ekiti state. My motherland.
