I AM DESPERATE TO FIX EKITI STATE NOT DESPERATE TO BE GOVERNOR - Congressman Bimbo Daramola

On Saturday 20th of January, 2017; Young men and women converged in their numbers in Ado-Ekiti to officially get inaugurated as members of  Bimbo Daramola Volunteers Group. 

Congressman Bimbo Daramola who is a leading gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressive Congress in Ekiti State Governorship election scheduled by Independent National Electoral Commission to hold on July 14, 2018. Bimbo Daramola who is widely described by majority of the populace of the State as the most refined politician with the needed credentials and reputation to change the lots of the State and help restore the glory of the State. 

These Volunteers who came from all 16 Local Government of the State, representing other thousands were full of appreciation to the Congressman who has distinguished himself with his impact and love for the masses. They pledge their allegiance to the campaign saying they believe this is about their lives and future of Ekiti State and her people.

In his response, Bimbo Daramola appreciated the volunteers for their show of love and support, urging them to keep the Fire burning and keep spreading the message of restoration of Ekiti which he stands for. He mentioned that his aspiration is not personal but about the lives of each and every son's and daughters of Ekiti State home and abroad and he has resolved not to look back. In his words, he said, "I am not desperate to become Ekiti Governor, but I am desperate to fix Ekiti State".

The Volunteers were officially commissioned to begin with door-to-door outreach at all Units and Wards across the Sixteen Local Government of the State.
