Congressman Bimbo Daramola's message to all Soldiers fighting our cause (BD for Ekiti State Governor 2018)

Guys we have 5 months more to go. 

We can do this! We cannot afford to be browbeaten and intimidated. Lilly livered people never win in the race of life . 

We can't be tired. You have done well so far but a lot more need be done .

Trust me by God s grace there is nobody or nothing to fear, we have reasons to be in this race and we are in it all together to suceed together. 

Its too early in the day to be tired and weary. 

Because a lot still need to be achieved. Trust me we need to turn this vision to a movement. 

Never entertain nay sayers or those who do not believe . 

We are going to make a long time difference in our lives by changing the future of Ekiti from now which is what we represent. 

My friends; brothers and sisters we have a bond tying us together and thats the vision to impact our world.

We cannot afford to be quiet or mute. 

We must shout more. Thats how to win. 

Remember blind barthemeus he was told to shut up and the more he shouted and that was how Jesus heard him. 

My friends we are not making empty noise we have clear reasons to be in this race by our antecedence and reputation. 

Imagine how many people who are in this race who cannot point out to anything they have done for the people or party yet they are not cowed how much more for us that we have lived a modest life of service that has impacted thousands in our dear state. our case is clearly different . 

We have been faithful in little  that is our conviction to ask to be entrusted with bigger responsibility and we have the heart and the will to deliver on expectations. 

We also are not relying on our reputation alone we also have put out our clear plans in the 5 steps to recovery and restoration and we have broken it down to the what we will do series from 1-8 in very easy to understand format, how many of our co aspirants have painstakingly done so, please take your time to check. 

So friends lets sharpen our resolve to go the vast desert and swim the expansive ocean to give this all it deserves.

This vision and dream  is obviously bigger than me . 

Its about better life for us all and the remaining 2.3 million people in our state living and generations unborn. 

We have a lot at stake to see this election as a thing for politicians , hell NO! Its about us . We cannot afford to cede our future to those who are in this race because of ego or those who are desirous of making an entry into the political space . 

My friends i could compromise on this vision and trade off our glorious future for a political position that  secures my profile  and relevance but i chose to say no because there are more people that needs to get back to school , more hospitals to be built, more scholarships to be given, our values as a state of great people is begging to be restored, many parents who are civil servants and their children are going to bed tonight because they have not been paid and non end in sight, pensioners are threatened by ill health because of pensions and gratuity that has not been paid, friends these and many other gory realities are what we want to face and bring good times back again. That is what you have volunteered for and to pursue. 

This is a noble cause that is bigger than me. 

It was said of Jesus that for the joy set before him he endured the cross. 

In like manner i am asking you to step up your involvement  in this fight for our liberty and not narrow prism of selfish ambition. 

Please renew your commitment today and lets give this our biggest fight because our future is what is at stake , not ego, ambition or pride. 

Lets step up our awareness and get onto the streets preaching and taking this message to every home and delegate that #bimboekiti is a movement and not an ambition.  

Be rest assured at the end of it all we will be proud that we were part of the team that recovered and restored Ekiti 's identity. 

Please the field is full, lets take our message  which is our sickle out there forcefully and forcibly driven by conviction and bring our kith and kin to the realisation that this is not just another election but a referendum on our corporate wellbeing and future as Ekitis.
