At a time like this, among several options in which the masses of Ekiti State demand of who is to govern us come 2018, the connection with home base is paramount to the psychological reasoning of our people. That's to say, who ever will be the Next Governor of Ekiti State must be in acquaintance with the grassroot.

Beyond the fact that the National and International exposure of Congressman Bimbo Daramola has broaden his overview of what it takes for innovative ideas and good governance, he is a thoroughbred Ekiti man that live within his people and knows where the shoe pinches us.

Veraciously, I am made bold to say that Bimbo has been part of his people in  many ways;

* Bimbo's father is from Ire-Ekiti in Oye Local Government.

* His mother is from Erinjiyan Ekiti in Ekiti West Local Government.

* Bimbo Primary Education was in Emmanuel Anglican Primary School in Ado Ekiti and St. Joseph Primary School in Aramoko Ekiti.

* His Secondary School was in Christ School, Ado Ekiti (Up School!).

* Congressman Bimbo Daramola had is Bachelor of Science in Geology at Ondo State University, Ado(OSUA), latter University of Ado(UNAD) and now Ekiti State University (EKSU)Ado-Ekiti.

As a Former Member of the National Assembly representing Oye/Ikole Federal Constituency, Bimbo Daramola has been in interrelationship and togetherness with his people. Every single town and villages of the constituency has his project executed and he respond always to their yearnings. 

Serving as the Director General of Dr. Kayode Fayemi Governorship re-election, Bimbo Daramola traveled far and wide to all the 133 towns and villages of Ekiti state, he listened to our voices and shared from our pains. At his utmost effort, he worked and pleaded with Ekiti people to avoid our present predicament.

Despite losing is re-election bid to National Assembly, Bimbo Daramola never detach himself from the grassroot. He kept on attending to the needs of Ekiti people. Bimbo pay school fees, settle bills and got many jobs, he pick calls and chat with us, he attend our wedding and child dedications, birthdays, chieftances, festivals and funerals.

Today, if you step into any of the towns or villages in Ekiti State, the name Bimbo Daramola and the rallying cry "NITORI OJO OLA WA" is topmost to our people as Congressman has learn to teach us how to fish for a greater future rather than begging for fish all our lifetime.

Therefore, as men become better informed, their ruler must understand them the more, so as to change their perspective to life. Every one of us is responsible for the future of Ekiti state, we must not underestimate the impact of helping one another irrespective of locality, so that we can achieve a greater future.

Bimbo Daramola is one of us, he feels the heartbeat of Ekiti populace, let's Pray and Support him as our Next Governor, I see A Brighter Ekiti State.
