BUCKWYLD ‘N’ BREATHLESS: 2BABA  #THELAGOSDREAM CONCERT

Lagosian were on Tuesday treated to an evening of melodious classic live music when they converged at Bogobiri house, Ikoyi Lagos. 

As the audience were being entertained, one of Africa's most talented artist, Innocent Idibia aka 2baba walked into the venue and the audience went into frenzy mood. Reminding the audience that what they saw at last years concert is a child's play compared to what he and his team are lining up for the October show. 

Following the success of the Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless Disruption concert of 2016 , the 2nd edition of Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless titled ‘The Lagos Dream’ will hold at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotels on the 22nd of October, 2017.

This was made public at the ‘Live Music Lagos’ event held to unveil this year’s concert at Bogobiri house on Tuesday, September 12th 2017.

At the unveiling which was hosted by popular emcee, Andre Blaze, main headliner; 2baba spoke on live music and what is to be expected from ‘Buckwyld and Breathless the Lagos Dream’ concert.

He stated that “The concert will be packed with world class live performances featuring many A-list artistes. "I assure you, it will be different from what fans are used to”.

When asked what should be expected at this years concert, he said he wouldn't want to say much about it but his fans should expects nothing short of entertainment.

"Like you know, we at BUCKWYLD ‘N’ BREATHLESS, is a well scripted show different from what we are used to in this part of the world. This is not like the everyday regular show we are bring in a lot props and creativity on stage and some artistic creative stuff infused into the show come October. 

"For me and my team, we just want people to come out on that day and experience it. Nothing that I would say here now that can give them the whole idea of what we are about to unleash in Lagos until they come and watch the show.

When asked if nigeriansshoud be expecting another show from him before the year runs out, 2baba said nothing of such should be expected from his end but can say if other artistes are lining him up for their own show.

"For me, BUCKWYLD ‘N’ BREATHLESS is going to be that one for this year.  

BUCKWYLD ‘N’ BREATHLESS has always been my own show but now we are going to be having supporting headliners as well. Because it's not going to only me all the time but for me, you can call  BUCKWYLD ‘N’ BREATHLESS my solo show".

Tiwa Savage, also a headliner for the most anticipated event in 2017, spoke live from South Africa saying that “The Lagos Dream Concert would be a blast and I can’t wait to perform”.

‘The Lagos Dream’ will be headlined by 2baba, Flavour and Tiwa Savage with live performances from many other guest artistes. 

2baba holds the title of the most decorated Afro-Pop artist in the Africa continent. He has to his credit One MTV Europe music award, One World Music Award, Five Headies Awards Four Channel O Music Videos Awards, Four MTV Africa Music Award, One MOBO Award, One KORA award, One BET award for his musical work and numerous nominations to his credit.
