Vickie Robert Foundation Nigeria set to distribute sanitary pads to Vulnerable girls, churches, mosques, others

In a massive campaign for #apadagirl# advocacy, Vickie Robert Foundation Nigeria  will be distributing hundreds of sanitary pads to vulnerable adolescent girls in Ketu and Kosofe Local Government Areas of Lagos State on Sunday July 23, 2017 in various Churches, Mosques and in communities.

Few days ago VRF Nigeria who partnered with Procter & Gamble, a company that is in forefront in corporate social responsibilities programs, got donations of the said pads from Always Nigeria and is now set for its onward distributions.

Vickie Robert Foundation (VRF) Nigeria will also be giving sensitization lectures on community projects with focus on menstrual hygiene. 

They would also offer education, as well as guidance and support at the start, during and post menstruation periods for these vulnerable adolescents.

Founder and President of the NGO, Vickie Robert Okere, said; "for the adolescent girls group meeting, those who will be benefiting from this initiative includes;

-Adolescent girls group meeting Agboyi community, Ketu
 
-Adolescent girls group meeting Alapere community, Ketu, Lagos 

For the churches;
-Upper Room Baptist Church Oriola - No 55, Oriola street Ketu, Lagos 

- Upper Room Baptist Church HQ- 2A Davies street, Obaleanro, Ketu, Lagos

Redeem Christian Church of God- No 1 church street, iyana school, Alapere, Ketu, Lagos

- Mountain of Fire Ministry - 26 Victoria street Ojota, Lagos

- The Apostolic Church - Ketu District Demurin opposite pako, Ketu Lagos and 

 - Anifowoshe Mosque - Eda Odunbo Close, off Doyin Omololu Ketu Lagos

All activities will be carried out on Sunday from 8am to 6pm by the NGO's team who will also be giving a first class sensitization to these adolescent girls.
