Short Summery Of The Movie
An American driver, Jack Curry takes a job driving Nigerian celebrities to the annual GIAMA Awards to impress his boss Kate. Along his journey he tries to become friends with actor Jim Iyke, who wants to be left alone.
mportant Characters in The Movie
Evan King who stars as Jack Cury the white American Driver. He played the lead role along side
Jim Iyke, who stars as Jim Iyke, a Nigerian movie stock who is unexplainably stucked with Jack, the American Driver.
Ayo Richard Makun who stars as AY Makun, also plays the role of a Nigerian celebrity who would rather be driven around town by the white American Driver, Jack Cury. He also played the role of the MC for the GIAMA awards.
Anita Chris Nwaezeapu stars as Kate, the job interviewer and Jack's boss who he happens to have a strong crush on.
Nse Ikpe-Etim plays the role of Nse Ikpe-Etim a Nigerian movie star who is delayed at the airport by the American driver, Jack who is suppose to get there before she arrives and take her to her hotel.
Nadia Buari stars as Nadia Buari, a Ghanaian movie star who gets picked up from the airport by Jack and also gets planked by Jack the American driver, and his friend Philip.
This movie would be liked and enjoyed by individual who like to be amused by comedy. It can be watched and enjoyed by all class of people, the young as well as the old.
My best part of the movie is the scene where Jim Iyke forced Jack Cury, the American driver to eat a Nigerian delicacy which was filled with so much pepper, just to get back at him for making him eat mushroom which he was allergic to. Having said that, there are some scenes in the movie I didn't just like or appreciate because they aren't real and properly directed. To mention a few, the scene where Jim Iyke was rushed to the hospital after he had allergy attached, then got snatched away by Jack wasn't just a real life scenario such won't happen in Nigeria, talk more America. Jacked effortlessly snatched Jim Iyke away on a wheelchair, and he was being chased by the nurse and doctors who were just by his side and could have apprehended him, but they didn't. Instead they ran beside jack and Jim Iyke like they were miles away from him and all hopes on catching them was lost. Another scene that wasn't properly shot was the scene of the GIAMA awards event. That's scene was poorly shot, the sound wasn't clear and sounded like noise.
After an hous and a half of seeing the movie, there isn't actual much to learn from it, asides from how important it is for you to be yourself wherever you find yourself and to try as much as possible to be in your best behavior, using jack as an example.
In a nutshell, I'd say I like the movie and rate it 55 over 100. That's only because it cracked me up a little.
