Short Profile: Zara Udofia-Ejoh

Born in Lagos, this versatile and multi-talented performer hails from Akwa-ibom state, speaks English and Yoruba languages fluently, Ibibio and Igbo (not fluent), does several Nigerian accents.

Her acting credits include, "Askari (south west & south east Nigeria tour), A horse on my back (Lagos, German tour), Andorra goes Kinshasa (Lagos, German tour), Things fall apart (world tour ’99, COJA-2003), Sense of belonging (Royal National Theatre Studios-London), lamentations, The merchant of Venice, Murder in the cathedral, women of owu, the voyage (London launch of the heart of Africa project 2006), Eye of the tiger(dance), Eve Enzler's - Vagina Monologues, Heartbeat- the musical, Kakadu the musical, Altine's Wrath, HEARWORD, etc.
She has been on T.V, Film and Radio productions, some of which are; Izozo-t.v, I need to know-radio, Domino-t.v, Askari-radio and t.v, Wetin Dey. -t.v, Koya - film, waiting for the hangman-movie, shakara the dance hall queen-radio, uncut-t.v, tight rope-t.v, Relentless -film, Jungle Ride -film, Conversations At Dinner -tv, BestFriends- tv, 93days- film.
She has also participated in several educational workshop productions/campaigns on issues dealing with HIV/AIDS, Gender Inequality, Female Genital Mutilation-FGM.

Consultant and Aritistic Director for Action Health Incorporated's(AHI) Teenage Festival of Life - TFL- 2008, 2012-2015.

Zara was one of 3 beneficiaries of the Trainee Producer course at Theatre Royal Stratford East(TRSE), London, 2012. Mentored by TRSE's Deputy Artistic Director, Dawn Reid and LUFODO Production's MD and producer of the London, 2012, cultural olympiad productions, Joke SIlva

She is managing partner at Oxzygen Koncepts and Productions Limited, she has produced "Fear abides with me constantly", "Waiting For A Lottery", for British Council's Lagos Theatre Festival- LTF 2014, "Oriki of a grasshopper", "wat's Dis All About", "Nigeria, a beautiful country", "Okonkwo's Inquest", co produced - "A Husband's Wife" and "The Mistress of Wholesome".

Zara is married and lives in Lagos.
