Female Makeup, A Curse Or A Blessing?

I am very sure I am not the only one with this question running around his head.  In our present world,  we get to see all sort of havoc all in the name of makeup.  SMH. Allow me also mention that,  in as much as few ladies go all wrong in achieving a good result from makeup, other women never go wrong at it,as they always put their best into it,  and come out with beautiful result that often blows minds. May I also add that this makeup thingy, has led a lot of men into pits. How?  We all know makeup tends to make some not so good looking ladies, look incredibly beautiful. Isn't that cruel? Which promoted me to throw this question to the entire public. Is Makeup a blessing, or a curse? Below are responses from different individuals. Read, enjoy, and share.
Rita Ekeh (PR consultant)
It is a blessing mixed with. a curse.  It helps (a blessing) and now a curse (something ladies  can't do without). No matter the price you just have to get it for yourself.

Sanni Sherif. (CEO Sannikayz kitchen)
It  is a blessing but,  might be a curse if care is not taken.

Funke Oguntunga (Blogger, and Advocate)
Blessing. Makeup is a beauty enhancement and when you're beautiful outside, it attracts people to you. All women deserve to be appreciated, respected, and admired. When a woman improves her appearance, an amazing thing happens. People begin to pay attention to her, listen to her, seek her company, ask her opinion. She becomes more confident, and this makes her look even better! As her confidence grows, so does the respect she receives – at work, at home, everywhere. As her insecurity falls away, she becomes more daring, self-assured, courageous; she finds she can do anything. Her life improves in every way. But always remember two things: every woman is already beautiful, and every woman can be even more beautiful! It's simply a question of appreciating yourself, highlighting your natural beauty to project your own self-image,

Yomi Casual. (Celebrity designer)
It's a blessing to this present generation where an 18 year old girl look 30.

WAZA (Physiotherapist, Performing, and recording Artiste)
It is a blessing. But when it's too much and it makes totally ugly girls become fine, then it becomes a problem. Which makes it a curse.

Jesse Omoruku (ICT consultant and logistic/procurement manager)
I think it's a curse,I say so because I once read that it was brought into existence by the fallen angels (bible), most ladies these days have lost their self confidence due to the rise of makeup, some are never comfortable without it on and it's not just right, We should learn to appreciate ourselves the way God has created us rather than depending on smthing that is temporary.

Blessing Iyamadiken (Blogger,Poet)
A blessing. Good make up improves your looks as a lady and also raises your confidence level.

Stanley Ekeh. (Senior Staff Julius Berger Nigeria)
I say both. Curse in the sense that it hides the natural beauty of a woman.  And a blessing because, it makes the ugly stand out.

Mr Nest (Recording, and Performing artiste.)
A blessing. When ladies  makeup, they look bright and beautiful . At the same time  stay happy. Of course ,when one is happy and looks good that's  indeed a blessing.

Luckie Lawson (Ghanaian Actress)
It is a blessing to mankind. It helps bring the style, and Beauty In a woman.  It helps pass messages without having to say a thing. And if properly done, it commands respect for a woman.

Babalola Olawale George (Manager Denrele Edun, CEO Fabspoons.)
oth lol! It's a curse because some people don't understand the use of makeup. And we have some other people that makes good use of it, and bring out the best out of it.

Harrison Iyoha (Journalist.)
A curse.  Because they happen to overdo it, abuse it these days, and end up looking the opposite of what they intend looking like. I think it has now become a curse on our ladies.  You see some wearing makeup and they look like grilled chicken while some look like sore grape after being beaten by rain.  I honestly do think our ladies should apply caution when applying makeup to their faces.
Mercy Okojie.
A blessing it is I'd say.  Reasons because, it help cover a lot of blemishes and, it beautifies ladies.

Of course makeup is good but,  too much is bad. Makeup that is so excessive that blends with a woman's skin tone is cool. But when you put on so much makeup that makes you look like a circus clown its a big turn off. Also make up shouldn't be so extreme that people can't recognise you without it. Its cool to be comfortable with ones own looks. Makeup should complement natural beauty not act as a mask. Also younger girls have to be careful. Makeup makes people look older and more sophisticated. It can attract older men to girls who may be underage. Apart from extreme cases, using makeup is alright.

Aisha Aliame (Civil servant)
A blessing because, it has been saving, and still saving the lives of females since it's invention.
