Princess Ada okeke Amam.
Founder Adorable Social Club Foundation of Nigerian
Her face might not strike any memory but,  her  kind-heartedness, and philanthropic acts, has been the talk of the town. Founder of the Adorable Social Club Foundation of Nigeria. She is Princess Ada okeke Amam,  a mother,  business woman,  and loving wife  In this interview conducted by Micheal Irabor of KINGGS BLOG,  she opened our eyes to reason why she won't be giving up on giving her shoulders to the needy,  and less privileged anytime soon. Enjoy.

We would like a brief introduction about you generally.
My names are Princess Ada Okeke Amam,  from Anambara state, a business woman,  based in Lagos,  am into chains of businesses.  A caring mother, and a loving wife.

Research has it that you own the Adorable social cub foundation of Nigeria, how true is that?
To start with, I don’t own it, God owns everything.  Only by the grace, and mercy of God that I became the founder of the foundation. It is my own means of reaching out  to humanity.  So we put  up this group basically dominated by women from the age of 35, to the age of 65 years, to fight in nation building.

How long has this organization been in existence?
It is a baby organization which started officially in 2011. But I have been president of so many social organizations. I was the president of immaculate ladies for five (5) years,

What was it like starting this Adorable social club foundation of Nigeria, what were the challenges you faced trying to put it in form?
I would say, before you embark on any charitable journey, you certainly must have the mind of charity.  You shouldn’t be so into getting money from it alone, instead all you must have at heart is giving out as much as you can. Though the bible states that money, is a weapon of defense but, money shouldn’t come as the first priority. I must confess, there were little storms here, and there. But my determination to keep putting smiles on the faces of people, got me going. The bible also states that after death, comes judgment. . On judgment day, when i stand before God what would I say I did on earth? I would say, I put up group of women, despite the challenges, and getting no financial assistance from anyone, but squeezing  out of the little we have to help people.

How were you able to overcome all those challenges?
Prayers, and being rooted with the word of God, I was able to pull through.  Truthfully, my life has been surrounded with countless challenges, and I must say,  that has made me like challenges. Because, when you have challenges, it makes you work harder, and  makes you think smarter outside the box.  I was able to overcome all the challenges I have faced, by the grace, and help of God.

Share with us, some of the charitable works, this foundation has done?
We have done so many, we visited the SOS severally in Lagos, did a very big party. I said if we can celebrate our child, with thousands of naira, we should be able to throw a very big party for the SOS, which we did. We have also done a lot of visitations to different hospital, we also fed three thousand less privileged in Lagos,  we have done a lot. And we also meet the needs of members too, because they say ‘charity begins at home.” So we have been able to do one, or two things to help ourselves. Like when a member, or member’s child is getting married, the club is always there to show endless support.

What has been your greatest achievement running this social cub foundation?
The main achievement I would say gladdens my heart so much, would be putting   smiles on people’s faces.. when  I see the faces of the needy smiling as a result of the generosity channeled to them, that moment is priceless to me. The smile of appreciation, and excitement can make me go as far as borrowing to do more for them.  When we fed the three thousands [3000], on the street, I remember there was a small girl who came to meet me saying ‘Mommy, we are five in number in my house, and we have nothing to eat.’ And we parked food, and drinks for her to take to her family, you needed to see the expression of joy, and happiness on her face.  That expression from that little girl’s face brought me so much joy, and feeling of fulfillment.  I must confess, putting smiles on people’s faces has been  my greatest achievement.

In every business, there are things we look forward to achieving. What is that thing that the Adorable social club foundation of Nigeria, is still looking forward to achieving?
To lay more impacts. Just like my new project, themed “Taking Hard Drugs Off Our Streets.”  A lot of awareness has been done for cancer, HIV, and AIDS, but none has been done to create awareness of the serious invasion of hard drugs into our present environments. Now, if we can do this, and two, or more people gets touched, and quit patronizing hard drugs, that would be another great achievement for not just members of the adorable social club, foundation of Nigeria, but also a thing of joy for those who have the good of this nation at heart.

What are the criteria of becoming a member of the Adorable social club, foundation of Nigeria, and is it a club for women alone?
Yes it is an association for women. Women, who have the mind of charity, and love for the society.  A woman with these criteria is qualified to be a member of the adorable social club, foundation of Nigeria.

What is this foundation presently working on?
We are presently working on having more chapters/branches all over Nigeria, and overseas. We looking forward to opening our chapter/branch in Texas.
