Can we meet you?
My name is Bamidele David, stage name is 'Dfile'. I am a Musician, from Osun state, and I live in lagos
How did you musical journey all begin?
I think my musical career started at the age of 12, my friend Deji, and I always listened to music very well. The likes of P'square, danfo drivers, zule zoo, and some other group singers. So we started to miming together, but along the line distance separated us. So I started doing music on my own.
Define your kind of music.
I do dance hall, Hip-hop, and R&B. I also get inspired by WizKid, Olamide, Sean Tizzle, Davido and Burma boy.
How many singles, any Album?
I have 6 tracks now, and planning to drop an album Titled, D GENESIS
Tell us about the present challenges you face being an upcoming act.
As an upcoming artiste I have been facing so many challenges in the studio in terms of finance, getting shows to perform, and in other areas. But, I know oneday I will overcome it by God grace
What are your plans for the Nigerian music industry?
I think the Nigeria music industry is moving to a higher level, and my plans for the industry when I finally breakthrough are, to bring up the industry to the level it should be, and always create professional music so Nigerian music would be greatly appreciated round the world
Where do you see Dfile e in the next 5 years?
I think in the next 5 years I will have become a star, and very popular like other celebrities
If given a fortune, what would you spend it on?
I will spend it on my music, and most especially my Mum. Because she is always there for me. She is one of the major reasons why I keep pushing.
