CLARION CHUKWURAH’S JADE PRODUCTIONS LTD AND AQUILA NJAMAH’S EAGLE EYE PRODUCTIONS LTD PARTNERS
CELEBRITIES AND THE MEDIA TURN OUT ENMASS TO WITNESS THE PARTNERSHIP DEAL BETWEEN CLARION CHUKWURAH’S JADE PRODUCTIONS LTD AND AQUILA NJAMAH’S EAGLE EYE PRODUCTIONS LTD.
It was a gathering of pomp and pageantry on Friday April 3rd as multiple award winning Star actress Clarion Chukwurah and International award winning director Aquila Njamah hosted friends, top celebrities, and the media to a special white bash.
The event, which took place at Vintage lounge by Festac unveiled the signing of the partnership deal between two giant production companies in Africa: Jade Productions owned by Clarion Chukwurah and Eagle Eye Productions, owned by Ace Nollywood director, Aquila Njamah. The party also celebrated Aquilla’s birthday, which the duo had marked at a charity home on March 25th.
Some of the top stars in attendance include Empress Njamah, Lillian Amah, African China Majek fashek, king Wadada, Rosemary Ingbi and a host of others.
The show was compeered by Lin Chung, while Comedian MC Passion was on the mic to keep the guests in stitches. The show was also spiced with music rendition by legendary reggae artist Majek Fashek, King Wadada, African China, Chawa Khalic, with upcoming act s Prince and Don Leo.
The peak of the event was when Aquila did a rendition of P-square’s Ifunnanya to Clarion which made the audience roar in applause.
Clarion, is one of the few Nollywood actresses who takes a strong stand for what she believes in, has been known in the past to frown at the irregularities and incompetencies within the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria and the unprofessional manner the organization is being run.
She has cried out against how the AGN has been turned by current president Ibinabo Fiberesima into an extension of a campaign office of the presidency, because of the monetary and material aspects a few actors stood to gain. When asked why she was not a part of it, she replied that despite President Goodluck Jonathan’s good intentions, what he achieved is a polarization and politicization of the industry and she hopes the new administration will focus on advancing the Craft and business by investing in self sufficiency in film making equipment production through manufacturing partnerships with India and China that will cushion cost effects and provide employment through training.
The event finally wrapped up in the early hours of the morning but each hour was worth the guests while.
The show was proudly supported by Verve energy drink, Cornell media Consult, MITV/Star FM, Encomium, City People, High Society, Global Excellence, Juvenis, Famourse, Cheq TV, NTA, STV, ON TV, Classice Magazine, City Pride, GHlobal News, Joy Akosa Blog, Julia Blaise Blog, Sun, Vanguard, WAP TV and Punch.
