My name is Tina Newman, am a Nigerian from Enugu state.
Define you kind of music.
My kind of music is called hip life, that's a combination of hip hop and highlife.
When did you start doing music, and when did you decide to go professional?
I started singing in the church choir longtime ago. And went professional in 2011 when i shot my first video titled ikaraka.
What inspires you kind of music?
My music is inspired by the everyday happenings around me, and my experiences in life.
How many songs have you done, what are their titles, and which is you favorite?
I have seven singles.. Sugar babe, Ikaraka, sweet love, go if u wanna go, kolo, Onyeri, and do me right. All my tracks are special to me. I won't say one is special than another.
Are you under any record label?
Presently, i am not under any record label but hopefully I would soon.
What's challenging about doing music?
What is challenging about doing music for me, is the part where I have to put into writing, and rhymes what I truly feel inside me, in a way that the listeners would hear and comprehend. We both know we can't really put our complete feelings into writing. No matter how much we try. Most times words can't just explain our true feelings.. Secondly finance. Music requires a lots of money. Which is what is holding down a lot of talented up coming musician out there as we speak now. All these are what I would point out as challenges.

What achievement has music brought you so far?
I would say becoming a professional musician. That has always been my dream. And it brings me joy knowing it is finally coming into reality.
What distinguishes you from other musicians?
That would be my unending passion for music, and my originality.
What are your greatest aspirations?
My greatest aspiration is to become a world class musician
What are you yet to benefit from doing music?
Recognition is what am yet to benefit. I know once am recognised, every other thing would fall in place.
Asides music, what else do you do?
I do fashion business.
