During the spectacular unveiling ceremony which was hosted by Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko at the Dome in Akure, where he urged #Nollywood film-makers, enthusiasts and content creators to size every opportunity within their might and capability to be creative in terms of story-line and narratives. In his words, "let’s use Nollywood to rebrand Nigeria. Let’s create a new narrative for the country. All what I know is that in December, we’ll have the best of BON Awards ever here in Akure,” the governor promised.  180 films selected for the 2015 edition of AFRIFF ,  155 are in competition. See full list below... Organizers of one of Africa's most glamorous film festivals, Africa International Film Festival   has finally unveiled the list of selected films for its 2015 edition which happens to be the 5th in its consecutive installments. According to the festival’s Artistic Director,  Keith Shiri , the programme reveals a series of industry sessions, master classes and movie screenings totaling 180 films, out of which 155 are in competition. The upcoming film festival is scheduled to hold in Lagos, Nigeria from November 8 to 15, 2015.
